VDU 0 does nothing.
This allows BASIC's | to act as if it supplies the exact number of zero bytes to fill the remaining parameters of complex VDU commands (eg. VDU 23) - what actually happens is that | always supplies 8 zero bytes and any left over after the complex command are each treated as VDU 0 commands, and hence ignored.
