A simple ECId is one byte long:
Bit Meaning (when clear)
7 Expansion card conforms to the Expansion Card Specification
6-3 ID number - zero means extended ECId
2 not requesting FIQ (or FIQ relocated)
1 Expansion card present (must always be zero, to allow hardware to detect the presence of a card)
0 not requesting IRQ (or IRQ relocated)
