State Meaning
1 Trying to look up address
2 Trying to connect
3 Listening
4 Connected and usable
-1 Host lookup failed (no such host)
-2 Resolver failure (no response)
-3 Resolver error (not running)
-4 No sockets left
-5 Host is unreachable
-6 Connection refused
-7 Bind error (someone is already listening)
-8 Nobody has connected (to a listening socket)
