This document specifies the IPFIX protocol that provides network operators
with access to IP flow information. In order to export IP flow information
to the IPFIX collecting process, a common method of representing the flow
data and a standard means of communicating them from an exporter to a
collector is required. This document describes how the IPFIX flow record
data, options record data and templates are carried over a congestion-aware
transport protocol from an IPFIX exporting process to an IPFIX collecting
process.
