This document describes a framework for Centralized Conferencing (XCON).
This XCON framework document provides an enhanced framework for
conferencing that is protocol agnostic. This document expands upon the
interfaces between the functional elements introduced in the SIP
conferencing framework by describing the characteristics of connecting
protocols and providing a related data model. However, this framework is
applicable for a variety of signaling protocols besides SIP including
H.323, XMPP, and even PSTN signaling protocols.
