This is a file compressed with the bzip2 program (based on the Burrows - Wheeler algorithm), which outperforms gzip at the cost of more memory (between 2.5 and 7 Mb) and time. Typical compressed file's size is 70% that of gzipped file.
Warning: The RISC OS port relies on the input file's filetype to determine what should be done (compression or decompression).
