Yet another evolution of the MOD amiga format, this time specific to the Arc. It was devised by Michael Pohle and Marko Lukat and allows playing of S3M tracks, through conversion. I don't know any editor of this file format, but on paper, it looks very interesting:
· 8..16 bit samples
· up to 32 tracks at a time
· replay rates from 4KHz to 333KHz (!)
· Maximum sample length: 1 Mb
· Maximum replay rate for a sample: 65.535 KHz
Note: Not all features are present in the pre-release of matrixTRK.
